Q. Is it possible to print rotated font in an Access 2.0 database report? I need to generate labels with descriptions across the top of the page which are 90 degrees off horizontal. If not Access 2.0, can this be done in Access 7.0?

A. You certainly can do it that way. Word will be able to rotate the text and you can then take a screen snapshot. If the report headers are always the same, then they can be plonked on the report. If they change, then they can be put in a table and referenced from the report (either through code or as a datasource).

Another way, might be to embed word objects to do it. I'd hate to think of it though if there are too many of them. An embedded document would be cool because it could be generated on the fly, so its fully configurable whereas bitmaps aren't.

There also may be another less bloated server app that will do it. Maybe Equation Editor? WordArt might also be a reasonable tool to use, in place of Equation Editor.
