Personal Programmer Profile : Stephen Archer
What follows is an in-depth, tell-all expose of the man, his hopes, his fears, his dreams for the future. It's a profile no programmer can afford to miss... You're an Essendon supporter. Why?

My Dad came from Essendon originally and I guess this was passed onto me.

What do you think of Sheedy's penchant for always shifting James Hird around when things go wrong - is it preventing Hird from becoming one of the best centre-half forwards of all-time?

Doesn't Sheedy shift James Hird around the ground even when things are going well? If there's one person who I hate in Essendon it would have to be Sheedy. I still can't believe that he left Kickett out of the '93 grand final. I would love to know what Melbournites think of Sheedy. By the way, is there anybody down there that follows Essendon?

- No, none of us barracks for Essendon. We have an excess of Carlton, Geelong and North Melbourne supporters, though.

Who was your favourite Brady Bunch woman: Marcia, Jan, Cindy, Carol or Alice? Why?

I'm afraid I had a deprived childhood and never really watched the Brady Bunch.

If you had to choose between Star Trek and The Simpsons, which would you watch?

The Simpsons.

If you were crowned Miss Universe (we're speaking hypothetically here, Stephen) what would you set out to achieve during your reign?

Since I can't think of anything funny to say: I would set about improving the lives of those living in Third World Countries.

Favourite Food?

This is easy. Satay Chicken. In fact Satay anything.

Most embarassing childhood experience?

Nothing really stands out, but here's a few:

There you have it - now it's like we've known Stephen all our lives.
