Ross Mack, Esquire.
![]() |
Ross Mack has made quite an impact since joining GUI Computing in early 1995. As well as being a keen Visual Basic and Access afficionado, he has written his own language called "Chooiice". It can often be heard around the hallways of GUI Computing, as well as various companies where Ross may have once been contracted. The main command of this language is that of "chooiice", as well the sub-command "keeen" and the error return of "we appear to have a bit of an information overload". If you are unsure as to whether you are actually being confronted with the "Chooiice" keyword, input the word WISE (as in the product Wise Executable Installation System ) and wait to see if the return value = WISE is Chooiice!! |
Ross' hobbies include:
Set Me = OpenDatabase() ' Conception
App Additem Me ' My birth
On Error Resume ' My family's response
App Refresh ' We moved house
App.Setfocus; Me.Hide ' Struggling with being shy as a teenager
' I got into improvised theatre
On error Exit Sub ' Early college years, an abortive Business (Info Sys) course
Dim; Unload; Redim ' A period of artistic anger and depression late in college .
Refresh For Do ' Employed by GUI, moved, went wide. Doing all sorts of new stuff.
Twenty five words exactly. And all VB keywords. Of Course the syntax is way out and the object references are atrocious - but you can't have everything!
