Ian Roberts
Ian is now an independent developer, and was previously a Senior Programmer for GUI Computing. He has a wonderful laugh, little red rosy cheeks, and we wanted him to be Santa Claus for the GUI Christmas Party.
He was previously working as an independent developer for Drake Training in Melbourne, during which time he was involved in the Kryterion project.
He became a second-time father this year (1996), when his wife, Dot, gave birth to Jordan. Ian also has two dogs that he raises with his little girl and little boy, and yes, we've told him if his baby goes missing that it's his own fault.
So this Christmas, if you see Santa come down your chimney with a sack in one hand and a laptop in the other, you will know who he really is...
