David Thompson, Eh?!
Dave Thompson was one of GUI Computing's long-time standing employees. He was promoted to Senior Programmer in 1995, much to the rest of GUI's dismay.
Dave was known as a silent achiever within GUI. His reflective attitude has contributed to the now very famous expression of "Eh?!" around the offices of GUI.
Dave has also been cursed with the SSS (the Second Stress Syndrome), whereby every second word he pronounces is stressed.
Maybe one day he will be able to defeat this illness.
We suspected that day would arrive, when he chose to leave GUI Computing. But, early in 1998, he chose to become an independent contractor, and the day didn't... go figure.
